PREP MTG. MINUTES FROM JUNE 2, 2009
1. Roll call
2. Minutes approved from meeting of May 5, 2009
3. Treasurer's report as of May 31, 2009 Bank balances total $ 5,623.78
4. Discussion of June 4th dinner and fund raiser with Henry and Esther. Positives and negatives discussed.Sold 110 tickets. Brought in $ 2500. so far including today from net of dinner and raffle and silent auctions.
5. Henry showed food inventory from the church and fire hall. Also discussed lack of food in Canadian customs building. Flea market proceeeds were $ 64.56.
6. Per Bill Knowles, festival will be held at the Marina in Sept., with music, children's area, animals, food.Roberto Angotti will be in charge.
7. In re July 4th, Henry to contact Maria in re booth there. She is contributing food regularly to PREP. Jay at the Marketplace is OK for food to be given to residents in case of emergency. Will be billed to the Red Cross. Dave Armstrong or Knick Kiniski will haul the Red Cross trailer in the parade.
8. Len Hamm read reports by Annette in re training done here on May 9th. Ed reported the planning and setting up of the training. Annette and Barbara Wayland and Noel Newbolt will be in charge,
9. Ed and Henry discussed training done by Salvation Army all over the world.
10. Ed and Mark discussed fire chief Mark Ellison. Nick Kiniski is the new fire chief.
11. Next meeting will be on Tues. July 7th.
