American Red Cross Sites their Stocked Emergency Trailer in Point Roberts
"Efforts of the committee are showing considerable results. Whatcom County Mt. Baker branch of the American Red Cross has sited a trailer stocked with emergency supplies. PREP committee members joined Red Cross volunteers from around Whatcom County to assist in outfitting our trailer and trailers for other communities.

HAM Radio Technician License Class April 2010
There will be a Technician’s License class at the American Museum of Radio and Electricity on consecutive Saturdays, April 3 and April 10, 2010 from 10 am to 3 pm. There will NOT be a VE exam on the 10th, but the regularly scheduled Ferndale exams will be the following Saturday (April 17th). This will probably be the last Tech class in the area before the new question pool is implemented on July 1 so if you have been putting it off, get registered!

Private roads a problem for Point Roberts fire district
